All grade levels are aligned with Michigan Academic Standards. Additionally, every grade level incorporates Islamic Studies, Arabic, and Qur'an as core daily subjects.
Kindergarten
ATA's Kindergarten curriculum is based on Michigan's Common Core standards, providing a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Students begin their educational journey in a nurturing, Islamic environment.
Elementary School (Grades 1–5)
These are perhaps the most important grades in a child's academic development — the time when students build basic skills and foundational knowledge. Students learn socialization skills and begin their moral and spiritual growth within a nurturing Islamic environment.
Middle School (Grades 6–8)
Students begin more in-depth study of Al-Islam at this level, building upon principles learned in elementary school. Students are engaged in project-based activities that encourage them to put theory into practice. Some classes are gender-specific because of the nature of subject content.
High School (Grades 9–12)
The High School curriculum is aligned with the Michigan Merit Curriculum. Students undergo the most in-depth study of Al-Islam, with theory and knowledge put into practice through real-life projects and demonstrations. Some classes are gender-specific.
Dual Enrollment Program
High school students have the opportunity to earn college credits online before they graduate through our Dual Enrollment Program. Contact the school office for details and eligibility requirements.
