Policies, procedures, and daily routines at ATA
Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Homework, classwork, and projects are required of every student. Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled when a student falls below this standard.
All students are expected to conduct themselves according to Islamic values at all times. Disruptive behavior is not tolerated, and respectful interaction with staff and peers is required.
School-approved uniforms are required for all students. Girls' uniforms are custom-ordered at registration; boys must be in uniform from the first day of school.
ATA does not offer a daily hot lunch program. Families are notified in advance on days hot lunch is available. Per Islamic dietary guidelines, pork products may not be brought to school.
Parents are responsible for textbook and supply fees, paid at registration. A limited supply of used textbooks may be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A limited financial aid program is available for qualifying families. Applications are reviewed by the Director or a Review Committee based on need and available scholarships.
As a private school with no government funding, ATA relies on tuition and community fundraising. Active participation by parents, students, and staff is expected throughout the year.
The PTO meets in-person and virtually throughout the year to support educational programs and enrichment activities. The schedule is set at the first parent meeting each fall.
Our office team is happy to help with any questions about policies, uniforms, or school procedures.
